So I went to the comic book store, and I saw this book about  mechanical design, way super si-fi. I had the knack to go home and start on a new project. As I got home, got out of the car, up the porch, and into the living room, I lost it.. All of it.. Not sure what happened, but I guess the fact that I was home completely destroyed my creativity. Its times like these that I think its about time to find a new place.

I decided to take a nap, hoping that this would cure my loss in creativity. I woke up less motivated and with the pattern of the couch fabric on my forehead. Aurgh!!! Ok, I need to come at this from another approach! I still want to start this project, but I have the strangest feeling that once I break out the supplies, that it will be just another wasted effort. Better luck tomorrow. I think my work has something to do with my loss in imagination... Vacation maybe?

i know how you feel. it's frustrating when you're bubbling with inspiration only to find it drain from your body the closer your feet make it to the front door. there's something both comforting [and enabling] of our home. i think this is why people have studios. home reminds us that we are, at some level, adults; and as "adults", we have responsibilities. don't move [i like your place], just ... find a place to disappear into your world for a while before you get home. it will return to you, leo. and home will always be there.
