What gets me, is that everyone well almost everyone, is painting the exact same things in the exact same styles.. or rather, painting the same themes over and over again in different styles.. UGH!! I'm tired of abstract art, especially the really bad abstract art!!! sorry to say this but quit wasting paint!! lol no I'm kidding, I do like that everyone is following their dreams as well as getting something out of the whole experience. Basically I've seen it all, surprise me with something new!!

I've given up on painting for a bit, until I can come up with something that no one is doing or has even thought of doing.. totally going to refine my style and technique...

I've taken on a new project which consist of plexiglass, wood, Styrofoam and a variety of architectural scale pieces.. Think model trains with a slight morbid twist. I can't wait to finish these.. So far I have created the plexi-display cases, as well as prepared my models.. Today I will be getting wood and stain for the bases and light boxes. Tomorrow I will be getting my Styrofoam to start building terrain..  I hope to have the first one finished hopefully by Sunday!! I finally got over my creative block. I think I just needed to try a new medium...

I had the knack to go home and start on a new project. As I got home, got out of the car, up the porch, and into the living room, I lost it.. All of it.. Not sure what happened, but I guess the fact that I was home completely destroyed my creativity. Its times like these that I think its about time to find a new place.

I decided to take a nap, hoping that this would cure my loss in creativity. I woke up less motivated and with the pattern of the couch fabric on my forehead. Aurgh!!! Ok, I need to come at this from another approach! I still want to start this project, but I have the strangest feeling that once I break out the supplies, that it will be just another wasted effort. Better luck tomorrow. I think my work has something to do with my loss in imagination... Vacation maybe?
